LOGO: peerlink - for young people, by young people.

PeerLink works with young people, adults, schools and organisations to support conflict resolution work.

Over 1,500 young people from schools and youth organisations are members of PeerLink. As well as working with these individual members, PeerLink also works in partnership to support, enhance and encourage more conflict resolution work.

PeerLink is currently working with secondary schools in London and Yorkshire to support new peer mediation projects. The young people in schools are trained in peer mediation by Leap and then PeerLink gives ongoing support by coordinating events, giving training and supporting evaluation. At the moment we are working intensively in the following schools:

  • Lammas School and Sports College, Waltham Forest
  • Leytonstone School, Waltham Forest
  • Tom Hood School, Waltham Forest
  • George Mitchell School, Waltham Forest
  • Norlington School for Boys, Waltham Forest
  • Holy Family Catholic School, Keighley
  • Greenhead High School, Keighley
  • Oakbank School, Keighley
  • Tong High School, Bradford
  • Grange Technology College, Bradford
  • Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College

We will continue to work with new schools over the next few years and are also able to offer some ongoing support to schools with existing mediation projects, so get in touch if you’re interested in finding out more about our peer mediation training programme.

PeerLink also works in partnership with community organisations, delivering peer led workshops to introduce conflict resolution or engaging with young people at conferences and events. If you are interested in holding workshops, led by PeerLink volunteers then please get in touch.
